Let Sleeping Dogs Lie (Fabric)
About the Mod
This mod adds realistic behavior to dogs in Minecraft. When pets remain in a sitting position for a long time without their owner nearby, they automatically lie down to rest in random poses. As soon as the owner returns within visibility range, the dogs happily get up and return to their normal position.
Features
The mod works exclusively on the client side and requires Fabric API and CompleteConfig. Since it modifies the standard wolf model and is purely decorative, conflicts may occur with mods that fundamentally change wolves and dogs, such as Doggy Talents.
Configuration
- Dogs Spawn Lying Down - determines whether dogs will appear in the world already lying down if they were sitting when entering the world
- Available Poses - by default all poses are enabled, providing approximately 50 different combinations of lying dog positions
- Who Raises Dogs - setting determines who causes dogs to get up from lying position
- Rising Distance - radius at which dogs react to approach
- Time Before Lying Down - period that must pass before dogs lie down to rest
