About the Mod
This mod solves a problem that many dog owners in Minecraft face - pets are forced to sit in one place for hours, waiting for their owner's return. Now, if a dog remains in a sitting position for too long without its owner nearby, it will automatically lie down to rest in a random pose.
As soon as the owner approaches their four-legged friend, the dog joyfully jumps up and returns to its usual sitting position, ready for new adventures!
Technical Features
The mod works exclusively on the client side and completely replaces the standard wolf model in the game. Since the changes are purely cosmetic, conflicts may occur with mods that fundamentally alter wolves and dogs, such as Doggy Talents.
Configuration
- Dogs Spawn Lying Down - determines whether dogs will appear in the world already lying down if they were in a sitting position when entering the world
- Available Poses - by default all poses are active, providing approximately 50 different combinations of resting dog positions
- Conditions for Getting Up - dogs can rise from lying position back to sitting position depending on who passes nearby
- Distance for Getting Up - the radius at which dogs react to approach
- Time Before Lying Down - the period that must pass before dogs lie down to rest
