Legacy Display - Return of Minecraft's Classic Interface
Immerse yourself in nostalgia with the Legacy Display mod! This project restores legendary interface elements from older Minecraft versions, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the classic game.
Main Features
The mod brings back several key interface elements that were part of Minecraft in its early days. You'll get access to the classic loading screen, old-style title screen, and various statistics displays that appear directly during gameplay.
Available features include:
- Classic title screen
- Old-style loading screen
- FPS (frames per second) display
- Chunk update indicator
- Game version display
- Coordinate display
Customization
All interface elements are fully customizable through the configuration file. You can enable or disable individual components, change their position and appearance according to your preferences.
For maximum authenticity of Alpha-version interfaces, it's recommended to disable the "Enable Minecraft Keyword Display" and "Enable Coordinate Display" options in the settings.
Technical Requirements
For the mod to work, Fabric installation and the following dependencies are required:
- Fabric API
- Fabric Language Kotlin
- oωo (owo-lib)
- Mod Menu
Compatibility and Features
Legacy Display works exclusively on the client side and doesn't require server installation. The mod is distributed under the LGPLv3 license, allowing free use in modpacks provided license conditions are met.
In some cases, other mods may affect the display of chunk update statistics, which is not an error of Legacy Display. If such problems occur, it's recommended to contact the developers of the relevant mods.
Currently, no critical errors in the mod's operation have been identified. If problems are detected, create reports in the appropriate section following the established template.
