Leaves: Laws of Conservation
This modification introduces the principle of conservation of matter to Minecraft's vegetation system. In traditional game mechanics, leaves often disappear without a trace after being broken, which contradicts the physical laws of the real world.
This modification changes this behavior by ensuring a 50% chance for leaf blocks to drop themselves when harvested. However, tools with the "Silk Touch" enchantment or regular shears retain their standard functionality - they still guarantee the collection of leaves.
Additional items that may drop from foliage - such as sticks, saplings, and apples - remain unchanged in their drop probability. This helps maintain the game balance regarding wood-derived resources.
As a famous scientist once said: "Nothing disappears without a trace, nothing arises from nothing, everything transforms into new forms." This principle finds its reflection in the operation of this modification.
