Lightman's Currency Tech
LC Tech is an extension for the Lightman's Currency mod that enhances gameplay by adding new types of traders specializing in fluids and energy.
Key Features
The mod introduces two new types of in-person fluid traders with one and four trade slots respectively. Also available are four types of fluid tanks (iron, gold, diamond, and netherite) with capacities of 10, 25, 100, and 200 buckets each (configurable). These containers preserve their contents when harvested and automatically merge when stacked on top of each other (assuming compatible fluids).
The upgrade system includes four tiers of capacity upgrades for fluid traders, increasing tank capacity by 10, 25, 100, and 200 buckets each (configurable). Each fluid trader can accommodate up to five such upgrades simultaneously.
For network trading, four types of fluid network traders are added with 2, 4, 6, and 8 trade slots. Of particular note is the energy trader, which can both sell and purchase any energy compatible with Forge Energy. The owner can freely configure the number of trades from 1 to 4.
The energy network trader also supports flexible configuration of trade slots from 1 to 4. For energy traders, four tiers of capacity upgrades are available, increasing maximum energy storage by 100 thousand, 250 thousand, 1 million, and 2 million FE each (configurable).
Completing the functionality are interface blocks for fluid and energy network traders, enabling remote restocking and purchasing operations.
Compatibility
The mod demonstrates excellent compatibility with most modified fluids. Tanks and traders work correctly with various modified fluid pipes and pumps. However, it's worth noting that fluid name display may not work properly for mods where names change based on NBT data, as different mods implement this functionality differently.
Regarding energy, the mod is compatible with most modified energy systems. Issues may only occur with mods that improperly use the built-in Forge Energy APIs provided by the Forge platform itself.
