Lanolin
The Lanolin modification introduces a completely new resource to the game - lanolin, which is obtained by smelting sheep's wool in a furnace. This unique material can be applied to armor to make it waterproof.
Waterproofing is a special armor property that significantly increases the time a player can spend underwater without needing to surface for air. However, this effect gradually diminishes over time. A full set of waterproof armor allows you to stay underwater for more than a minute longer than usual before requiring reapplication of lanolin.
The process of applying lanolin to armor is extremely simple - just combine them on a crafting table (multiple items can be processed simultaneously). It's important to note that all enchantments and other special item properties are completely preserved during this process.
Main Features
- Lanolin - a crafting resource obtained by smelting any sheep's wool in a furnace
- Waterproofing - an armor property with values from 1 to 15, which decreases by 1 every 20 ticks instead of the usual oxygen level reduction. Each level of waterproofing on each armor piece increases underwater time by 1 second
Update 0.2b
- Lanolin can now be applied to tools, allowing you to avoid slowdown when working in water
- Numerous configuration options added for personalizing gameplay:
- Time before oxygen meter reset (default 20 ticks, maximum 300)
- Amount of lanolin per wool (default 1, maximum 64)
- Tool and armor limits (default 15 for both types)
This modification is perfect for players who want to expand their underwater construction and exploration capabilities without disrupting game balance.
