Kreezxil's Compressed Blocks

About the Modification

The Kreezxil's Compressed Blocks modification offers players a revolutionary way to store resources in Minecraft. When your chests overflow with common blocks that you don't want to throw away, this modification allows you to compress them into compact forms!

Compression System

The basic principle is simple: 9 base blocks or items create one compressed block of the first level. Then 9 first-level blocks create a second-level block, and so on down the chain. For example, 9 cobblestones yield one compressed cobblestone, and 9 Ender Pearls create one compressed Ender Pearl.

Block Features

With each compression level, blocks become stronger and require better quality tools for mining. Their blast resistance also increases. The system supports up to 8 compression levels with the possibility of expansion to 16 levels.

Fuel Blocks

Compressed Coal Block has a burn time of 144,000 ticks, making it efficient fuel.

Double Compressed Coal Block offers even more impressive 1,296,000 ticks of burn time.

Coal Chain

Compressed coal blocks not only save space but also provide a unique opportunity to obtain diamonds. When reaching the 4th compression level, you get a stack of diamonds! Each compression level increases burn time by 10 times compared to the previous level.

Compatibility

For version 1.17.1, the modification is compatible with Industrial Reborn and the vanilla furnace. Unfortunately, advanced furnaces from other mods do not support compressed coal blocks.

Carbon Technology

The modification includes a unique carbon technology chain that provides an alternative path to obtaining diamonds from coal and charcoal. The chain includes:

• Coal and Gravel Mix - yields 2 blocks when combined
• Activated Carbonite - emits particles when placed
• Coal Block made from Charcoal - first recipe for turning charcoal into coal
• Buckyballs and Carbon Nanotubes - basic technology components
• Diamonds - final product with 32 diamonds and 256 experience

The modification adds a wide range of compressed blocks, including cobblestone, dirt, coal, flint, gravel, sand, red sand, clay, diamonds, emeralds, redstone, obsidian, netherrack, gold, lapis, iron, endstone, Ender Pearls, and many others.

Each block type has its unique hardness, resistance characteristics, and required harvest levels, making the system balanced and interesting to use.
