Koopa's Critters

The Koopa's Critters mod enriches the Minecraft world with over 30 new animals based on real species. A distinctive feature of this addition is that most of the included creatures belong to rare and endangered species facing threats in the wild. The author aimed to raise players' awareness about biodiversity conservation issues.

Compatibility Features

It's important to note that this mod was created using Mcreator and is available exclusively for Minecraft versions 1.12.2 and 1.16.5. The developer has clearly stated that ports to other game versions are not planned.

Added Animals

The mod includes diverse fauna representatives such as the tree lobster, rosy boa, African giant snail, fire salamander, tricolor hognose, desert rain frog, California quail, chuckwalla, rainbow rock lizard, serval, impala, sulcata tortoise, uakari monkey, yellow-footed tortoise, red panda, roseate spoonbill, Pallas's cat, mountain viscacha, muntjac deer, helmeted guineafowl, leopard cat, marsupial mole, yellow-eyed penguin, chinstrap penguin, northern rockhopper penguin, and for version 1.16, additional species include Cape buffalo, aardwolf, Chacoan peccary, Matchie's tree kangaroo, Yangtze giant softshell, Tibetan fox, bush dog, gentoo penguin, klipspringer, emerald toucanet, burrowing owl, rock hyrax, Indian bullfrog, Chinese crocodile lizard, pink velvet worm, headlight beetle, Sagalla caecilian, king eider, marabou stork, pink land iguana, South Island takahe, and clouded leopard.
