Kd's Food Mod
Enhancing the Minecraft Culinary Experience
This modification is in its earliest development stage but already offers players interesting possibilities to diversify nutrition in Minecraft.
What's Inside?
- Various food items with different saturation levels
- A special dish - Golden Buttered Salty Corn on the Cob - that not only fully restores hunger but also provides a powerful regeneration effect
- A special recipe using Golden Corn (similar to the old Notch Apple recipe)
- The ability to grow corn with a unique 3D plant model (in development)
For convenient viewing of recipes, it's recommended to use JEI (Just Enough Items). Currently, the mod lacks ore generation, but all recipes are available through crafting.
Planned Updates
The developer plans to add many new products and agricultural crops:
- Rice cultivation and special dishes for players with food allergies
- Italian pasta - spaghetti
- Various types of pizza
- Additional fish species (since the current Minecraft fishing system is too limited)
- Coffee - as an additional valuable resource
Compatibility
The mod is fully compatible with Forge and should work correctly with other modifications adding food. The Ore Dictionary is properly configured for all recipes.
Important: When using Optifine and encountering display issues, be sure to mention this in the error report, as Optifine affects rendering.
Usage Tips
Although the mod is in active development, you can already try its main features. All recipes follow logic and are quite intuitive to understand.
Community Help Needed
The developer invites everyone interested to help with creating textures in the Minecraft style. Requirements: matching the game's overall style and only real existing food products.
