Karma's Armoury - Expanded Weapon Arsenal
This mod is currently undergoing a major update and rework.
Karma's Armoury significantly expands Minecraft's combat capabilities by adding various weapon types created primarily from the game's standard materials. The developers plan to support materials from other popular mods in the future.
Compatibility with Combat Systems
The mod works excellently with Epic Fight Mod, which will become a mandatory requirement in the next update. However, this support can be disabled if you decide not to use EFM. Built-in integration eliminates the need for additional datapacks.
When used alongside Better Combat, all weapon types automatically adapt to the corresponding animation types and mechanics.
Available Weapon Types
- Longswords
- Greatswords
- Katanas
- Scythes
- Sickles
- Rapiers
- Daggers
Currently, scythes and rapiers use alternative animation types until corresponding addons are released.
Development Features
The project is actively developing with many future plans. It's important to note that this is a hobby project, so updates may be released with some delays.
All weapons integrate perfectly into vanilla gameplay without conflicts or compatibility issues.
Important Change: Unique named weapons have been removed from the mod.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why is there collaborative development? Due to ADHD characteristics, the main developer experiences concentration difficulties with large amounts of information on screen. Therefore, programming is handled by assistant Jeredacted, while the author focuses on textures and Epic Fight support.
Support for older versions? The mod is unlikely to be ported to versions older than 1.20.1, unless Jeredacted decides otherwise.
Support for newer versions? The primary development environment is 1.20.1. A backport to 1.18.2 is possible but not guaranteed.
Where to get answers to questions? The developer rarely checks comments on CurseForge. The best way to communicate is through the Epic Fight Discord server, where the author actively communicates.
What happened to the 3D models? 3D models were removed in favor of 2D textures to simplify development. A resource pack with new, higher quality 3D models is planned for the future, but this is a secondary task.
