Just Dandy Mod: Fluffy Dandelions for Minecraft

Add charming fluffy dandelions to your Minecraft world that bring new life to familiar biomes. These delicate plants automatically appear in plains, oak forests, and meadows, creating picturesque landscapes.

These flowers feature dynamic behavior: in dry weather, they gently sway, releasing light seed particles into the air. When creatures pass through them - whether players, mobs, or projectiles - the particles become denser and more noticeable, creating a magical visual effect.

How to Grow and Collect

You can grow fluffy dandelions yourself by using bone meal on regular dandelions. Pollinated bees can also transform regular flowers into fluffy ones with the same probability as other pollinated crops.

These plants are quite fragile, so you'll need shears to collect them. If you try to break them without the tool, they will either turn into a regular dandelion or (in versions 1.21+) drop nothing at all.

Settings and Compatibility

The mod offers flexible settings that allow you to adjust:

• Dandelion particle density (default multiplier: 1.0)
• Particle lifespan (default multiplier: 1.0)

Advanced Features

Using datapacks, you can configure the biomes where fluffy dandelions appear:

• just_dandy:has_fluffy_dandelion - standard patches in plains and forests
• just_dandy:has_frequent_fluffy_dandelion - more frequent and dense clusters in meadows
• just_dandy:has_thick_dandelion - very frequent patches, including Dandelion Fields from the World of Wonder mod
