JJ Meteor - Meteorite Falls in Your World
In the world of Minecraft, meteorites can now appear and crash down onto the ground with thunderous impact. With the latest update, these celestial bodies fall randomly and completely automatically, without player intervention.
🔭 New Observation Tool
The mod adds a special telescope that helps you predict approaching meteorites. With it, you can track the time remaining until the next impact.
Crafting the Telescope:
Recent mod versions have introduced significant improvements:
- Added "Spawn Block Meteor" crash mode
- Added "telescope" item with timer for next impact
- Updated names of meteor blocks
- Added meteor dust as new resource
- Created PvP-free zone activating after impact (in Spawn Block Meteor mode)
- Impact messages now display in colors
- Configuration files optimized for mod versions
- Fixed version checking system
Perfect for server administrators - the mod creates new gameplay events and adds diversity. After meteor impact, valuable resources remain at the crash site for collection.
System Features:
The Red Meteor is quite rare - with only 16.66% chance of appearing. Regarding landing location: in single player, meteor lands approximately 100 blocks from player on X and Z axes. In multiplayer, the mod automatically selects neutral point between all participants.
Settings and Commands:
In settings, you can disable chat notifications about approaching meteor - find parameter "show_message_start_meteor". Also configurable message text through "message_start_meteor".

- Enable explosions with flames
Meteor Spawn Command:
/meteor x y z destroy seconds drop_item quantity meteor_type
Where:
- x, y, z - landing coordinates
- destroy - explosion power (0 for safe fall)
- seconds - time until impact
- drop_item - items at crash site
- quantity - number of items
- meteor_type (optional): 0 - Ancestral, 1 - Burning
