Iron Barrels

The Iron Barrels mod enhances Minecraft storage capabilities by introducing upgraded barrels of various tiers. Each successive level provides more storage space for your items compared to the previous one.

Key Features

The mod offers two methods to obtain upgraded barrels: either crafting the desired tier directly or using special upgrades that transform existing barrels into more advanced versions.

Upgrades are applied by simply right-clicking on a barrel. For example, using an "iron to gold" upgrade will convert an iron barrel into a gold one while preserving all items stored inside.

Barrel Tiers

Version 1.15: Diamond barrel offers maximum capacity — nearly 110 storage slots.

Versions 1.16.5 and newer: Added Netherite barrel with even greater capacity — approximately 140 slots.

For version 1.12.2: Netherite barrel becomes available with the FutureMC mod installed.

The obsidian barrel deserves special mention. It has the same capacity as the diamond version but boasts enhanced durability, inheriting the properties of obsidian blocks — exceptional blast resistance and difficulty to break.

Compatibility

The mod supports three major modification platforms: Forge, NeoForge, and Fabric. For proper functioning of the Fabric version, Fabric API installation is required.
