Inventory Totem (Legacy Fabric)

This mod provides a simple yet useful enhancement for Minecraft that changes the mechanics of the totem of undying. In the standard game version, to activate the death-saving effect, you need to hold the totem in your main hand. With this modification installed, it's sufficient to simply have the totem anywhere in your character's inventory - the effect triggers automatically in lethal situations.

The mod completely preserves the original visual and gameplay effect of the totem of undying - everything works exactly the same as in vanilla, but with much greater convenience. Now you don't need to constantly switch items in your hand to stay protected - just carry the totem with you.

For the mod to function, installation of the Collective (Fabric) library and Fabric API is required. This version is intended for Fabric 1.16 and 1.17 - separate releases exist for newer versions and Forge.

This modification is part of the "The Vanilla Experience" pack, maintaining the philosophy of minimalistic improvements that don't disrupt the original gameplay.
