Inventory Essentials
The Inventory Essentials mod provides a set of convenient inventory management features that were previously only available in larger modifications. It includes only the most essential capabilities, making it an ideal addition to any modpack.
Key Features
- Single Item Transfer: Press Ctrl + click to move one item instead of the entire stack
- Bulk Transfer: Use Shift + Ctrl + click to quickly move all stacks of identical items (for example, all cobblestone from a chest to your inventory)
- Automatic Transfer: Hold Shift and drag the cursor over items for automatic transfer without needing to click each one individually
Compatibility and Installation
The mod works on NeoForge, Fabric, and Forge. It requires the Balm library to be installed. An important feature is optional installation - the mod can be used only on the client side and will function even if the server doesn't have it installed.
Inventory Essentials doesn't override the game's default behavior and doesn't conflict with other inventory management mods like Quark or Inventory Sorter. It's ready to use immediately after installation without any configuration needed.
Note: This mod does not add inventory sorting functionality.
