What is Integrated Villages?
Integrated Villages is the third installment in the Integrated Structures mod series. This modification completely transforms standard Minecraft villages, replacing them with meticulously crafted settlements featuring numerous detailed houses to explore. The mod's distinctive feature is the integration of decorative elements from Supplementaries and Quark, as well as mechanisms, puzzles, and traps from Create. Compatibility with over 30 other mods is supported.
The author created this project out of disappointment with existing structure mods that often added only vanilla items without significant challenges. As a result, mods emerged that offer beautiful and complex dungeons and structures with deep development, fully integrated into core mods.
Other Author Projects:
- Integrated Stronghold
- Integrated Dungeons and Structures (IDAS)
Configuration and Settings
By default, Integrated Villages disables the generation of standard Minecraft villages. This can be changed in the configuration file.
For additional configuration, it's recommended to use a special configuration datapack.
Changing Spawn Frequency:
- Spacing — average distance between generation attempts (0-4096)
- Separation — minimum distance between neighboring attempts in chunks (0-4096, cannot exceed spacing)
Editing Biomes: modify biome files in the worldgen/biome/has_structure tags
Disabling Structures: remove structures from the structure set file
Compatibility with Other Structure Mods: add structure sets to the "structure set to avoid" list in relevant files
Frequently Asked Questions
Question: Which biome mods are compatible? Answer: Most popular biome mods, including Terralith, BOP, and Regions Unexplored.
Question: Will older Minecraft versions be supported? Answer: The author supports current Minecraft versions as dependencies update. Ports to older versions are unlikely but not impossible.
Question: Is the mod compatible with other structure mods? Answer: Yes, all mods from Yung's, Repurposed Structures, and others work without issues.
Question: Can the mod be used in modpacks? Answer: Yes, the author welcomes the use of the mod in modpacks.
Question: Can the mod be installed server-side only? Answer: No, due to custom music discs, soundtrack, and changes to client-side structure blocks, installation on both sides is required.
