Text Input Solution for Asian Languages

Eliminates a long-standing bug in Minecraft that has been causing inconvenience to players from Asian regions for years. The modification allows the use of multi-character input methods directly in the game.

You can now effortlessly type hieroglyphs and other complex symbols directly into in-game text fields. The functionality has been tested on the Windows platform with support for Chinese and Japanese languages.

System Requirements

The mod requires an installed Forge with the appropriate version of the loader.

Support for Alternative Platforms (Experimental Version)

Mac and Linux users can use a special input function: open any text field, press F12 - a separate typing window will appear. Note that while this window is active, the game will stop responding to other commands.

Important: The F12 function does not activate in Windows. If necessary, it can be disabled by deleting the file "\lain\mods\inputfix\impl\GuiScreenFixOthers.class" from the mod's jar archive, after which the system will return to the standard Windows algorithm.

Version Compatibility

For versions 1.9 and above, the modification is not required - Minecraft developers have integrated the fix into the main game. On the Windows platform, input should work by default. Further mod updates are not planned due to unstable operation on unsupported platforms.

The version for 1.7.2 is only suitable for this particular build - using it with 1.7.10 will cause crashes.

For 1.6.x servers, the mod will need to be installed on the server side to ensure correct text input on signs.
