Infinite Void Mod
Note: The current version of the mod has some issues that may cause incompatibility with previous versions. These problems will be fixed in version 2.0.0, which is planned for release in the future.
The Infinite Void mod adds a completely new dimension to Minecraft called the "Infinite Void". This reality represents an absolutely empty space where there is nothing except the portal through which you arrived here. This solution provides players with unlimited territory without any obstacles for implementing the most daring creative ideas.
For convenient study of crafting recipes, it is highly recommended to use JEI or REI mods.
Main Features
The portal to the Infinite Void is built similarly to the Nether portal, but glass is used instead of obsidian.
To activate the portal, you will need a special item - the Dead Eye. This same item is used to create Void Essence.
From eight particles of Void Essence and a Totem of Undying, you can create a Totem of Avoidance. This artifact functions in any dimension and teleports you to the respawn point in the main world, preventing item loss. Especially useful in the Infinite Void and the End.
By combining one Totem of Avoidance, three blocks of blackstone, and five particles of Void Essence, you will get a Void Anchor. This device instantly teleports you to its top surface when falling into the void. When destroyed, the Anchor does not drop as an item. It automatically destroys itself if placed outside the Infinite Void or when a new Anchor is placed in this dimension. Only one active Void Anchor can exist in a single Minecraft world.
Food Items
If you smoke the Dead Eye, you get a Smoked Eye - a food item with low nutritional value. However, it serves as a component for creating a more useful item.
From Smoked Eye, fermented spider eye, carrot, and bowl, you can cook Eye Soup. When consumed, this dish causes nausea for a short time but also gives the night vision effect. Additionally, the soup removes blindness and darkness effects from the player.
