Immersive Weathering - A Breathing Minecraft World
Minecraft's world often seems frozen and lifeless, aside from randomly wandering animals. Would you like the environment to actually evolve and change as you explore? The Immersive Weathering mod is made exactly for that.

This mod fills your world with a completely new level of realism and dynamics. Imagine: moss gradually covers stone blocks, bricks crack from exposure to high temperatures, iron rusts during rain, wooden surfaces char in fires, icicles form on roof edges, and grass actually grows and spreads. All these and many other mechanics make the world truly alive, while not causing lag or destroying your carefully built structures.

However, nothing lasts forever without proper care. You'll need to take care of your buildings. If bricks have cracked, they can be easily repaired with mortar. Moss burned away with flint and steel won't grow back in that spot. The developers paid special attention to how these mechanics affect gameplay and made sure you can prevent or repair any potential damage.
