Immersive Skyblock
This data pack adds special Skyblock-style dimensions to Minecraft with Immersive Portals support, allowing seamless travel from regular survival to a minimalist sky island world with separate inventories.
Required Mods
For full functionality, Immersive Portals and Dimensional Inventories are required.
Installation
- Install the recommended dependencies as desired.
- Create a backup of your Minecraft world.
- Place the data pack in your world folder.
- Add the preset from the GitHub repository to the dimensionalinventories folder or configure Dimensional Inventories using the
/diminvcommand.
Features
Vanilla Compatibility
The data pack works even in the pure version of Minecraft (you can use /tp to switch between dimensions), with recommended mods only adding smooth travel through portals and automatic inventory switching.
Using Mojang's built-in dimension system ensures your main world remains unchanged - with updates or data pack issues, you'll get a clean vanilla world with empty portals.
Balanced Dimensions
The developers ensured balance so the data pack doesn't create opportunities to exploit game mechanics.
- Achievements and statistics are not counted in Skyblock mode. (configurable)
- Items and mobs cannot travel between different game modes.
- Players cannot interact through portals. (cannot break blocks on the other side of the portal)
Skyblock Features
- Classic sky island in the void.
- Skyblock portal requires a fully oxidized copper frame and is activated with flint and steel.
- Nether island with basic blocks.
- All biomes and important structures are generated.
- End portals, spires, exit portal, and the dragon are created. Good luck!
- End ships generate, allowing you to obtain elytra and shulker boxes.

Big thanks to BluePsychoRanger for the Skyblock data packs that were adapted for world generation. This work would have been impossible without it.
