IC2 Classic - Classic Industrial Revolution in Minecraft

IC2 Classic is a comprehensive technological mod that brings elements of the industrial revolution to Minecraft. This project preserves the original concept of classic IndustrialCraft while remaining beginner-friendly without sacrificing core features.

Key Features

Energy System The mod adds a complete electricity system, including generation, storage, and energy usage. You can transition from traditional solid fuel to modern electrical solutions.

Resource Processing Advanced ore processing methods allow you to obtain significantly more ingots from mined materials, increasing your production efficiency.

Tools and Equipment New tools make you more efficient in resource gathering, forestry, and construction. Various weapons and armor are also added to enhance combat capabilities.

Process Automation The automation system optimizes resource extraction and processing, saving your time and effort.

Compatibility and Integration

IC2 Classic includes functionality from popular addons like Advanced Machines and Compact Solars, with plans to add more. The mod provides native compatibility with BuildCraft, NEI (Not Enough Items), Tinkers Construct, Waila, and many other popular mods.

In the Minecraft 1.10.2 version, the mod nearly doubled in size, offering many new features to explore. However, IC2 Classic doesn't force itself as the main focus of the game - you decide how deeply you want to engage with its mechanics.

Known Issues

• Steve's Carts (1.10.2 only): Conflict due to integration with IC2 Experimental. Solution: delete the IC2 folder in plugins/integration/modcompat.
• Mods by Chocohead: Most addons from this developer are incompatible as they're built on IC2 Experimental code. However, their functionality is often already included in IC2 Classic.
• Railcraft: Minor conflict when disabling the magic module. Solutions: enable the magic module or disable macerator recipes for poor ores in configuration.

Modpack Permissions

IC2 Classic is available for use in modpacks on CurseForge and fully supported by Technic Pack. Notifying the developer when using in Technic Pack is appreciated but not required.
