ℹ️ About the Modification
Hyper Lighting expands Minecraft's standard lighting system by offering various modern light sources that can be turned on and off. The mod started as a simple idea - to add just one controllable torch, but grew into a full-fledged project with an extensive selection of lighting fixtures.
With the addition of extensions, Hyper Lighting also provides colored lighting, making game locations truly unique.
💡 Available Light Sources
The mod offers an impressive assortment of lighting:
- Controllable torches and lanterns - analogs of standard Minecraft light sources with switching capability
- Tiki torches - for creating atmospheric settings
- Underwater lights - lamps and torches that work underwater
- Candles and candles in jars - stationary and portable light fixtures (portable ones require RGBLib)
- Colored redstone lamps - colored versions of standard lamps
- Solar fence lights - autonomous lighting fixtures with solar panels and remote control via switch boxes
- Campfires - two types of hearths for cooking with colored lighting support, one featuring an unexpected surprise
- Button lights - combination switches and night lights that activate redstone
- Fluorescent lights - dyeable light fixtures powered by batteries
- Jack o' Lanterns - pumpkin lights with Halloween styling
- Lava lamps - decorative lamps without actual lava
- Unclear glass - allows observation of neighbors without light transmission
- Solar panel - energy source for powering certain devices
- Colored water - dyed liquid safe for consumption
🎨 Lighting Personalization
Most lighting fixtures can be colored by right-clicking with dye in hand. Compatible devices show this feature in the tooltip. With RGBLib installed, all dyed light sources emit corresponding colored light.
