Hybrid Birds - Bird Variety in Minecraft
The Hybrid Birds modification expands the Minecraft world by adding numerous new bird species. Currently, six varieties of adult birds are available, along with their offspring.
Available bird species and their offspring:
- Rooster - Chick
- Turkey - Poult
- Duck - Duckling
- Goose - Gosling
- Swan - Cygnet
- Guinea Fowl - Keet
- Peacock - Peachick
Each bird possesses unique features and functions:
Rooster has several interesting abilities. If a player wakes up in a bed within 32 blocks of it, the rooster provides the "Rooster's Call" effect, granting slight regeneration and saturation until noon. It also scares away ocelots. When fed glow berries, the rooster becomes aggressive and attacks other aggressive roosters for 10 seconds.
Turkey can be fattened with wheat up to two times. The fatter the turkey, the more meat it provides when killed. Like the rooster, it scares away ocelots.
Guinea Fowl behaves similarly to chickens but can produce up to 4 keets when bred, making them a more efficient food source.
Ducks and geese provide raw duck and goose meat respectively. These products can be combined with raw turkey to create Turducken.
With the new birds come various food items: cooked eggs, duck meat, goose meat, turkey meat, and Turducken - a placeable food item that can be consumed up to 10 times!
