Inspiration Sources
The idea originated from two sources: the ingenuity of builders who use unconventional block properties (such as fences connecting where it shouldn't be possible), and popular "Minecraft Domino" videos where players exploited bugs in older versions to create floating sand, gravel, and concrete powder blocks that would then fall in cascade.
Block Operation Modes
The Houdini Block offers four placement modes:
- Default Mode: prevents updates to neighboring blocks when the Houdini block is broken
- Prevent on Placement: blocks updates to neighboring blocks when placing the Houdini block
- Complete Protection: prevents any updates both during placement and destruction of the block
- Block Replacement: similar to "Complete Protection", but the Houdini block replaces the target block instead of being placed adjacent to the selected face

Requirements
