Historically Accurate Armor - Minecraft Mod
Let's be honest: the mod's name is a bit misleading. Originally planned as truly historically accurate armor, it ended up becoming something completely unique and exciting!
This mod offers players an expanded armor system, including budget options for beginners and advanced armor for experienced warriors. All are crafted using new materials and specialized tools.
Main Features
The mod adds to the game:
- Cloth-based armor and corresponding materials
- Camouflage suits for stealth movement
- Progressive crafting system (tech tree)
- Growable grass for fabric production
- Two types of tools with several variations
- New building blocks
- Backpacks and additional storage bags
Armor Types
Quilted Armor: Basic budget option. Can be upgraded or used to create more advanced armor.
Iron Plate Armor: Medium protection class. Affordable, provides good protection, and can be upgraded.
Steel Plate Armor: Medium class. More expensive than iron, but more reliable and provides better protection.
Chainmail Armor: Light class. Not too expensive but effective, includes top-tier options in its category.
Heavy Plate Armor: Heavy class. Expensive and durable, allows creation of the best armor in the mod.
Ancient Armor: Light/medium class. Budget option with basic protection.
Flak Armor: Medium class. Reliable but expensive, can be upgraded.
Camouflage: Almost no protection. Ideal for stealth movement, has two upgrade paths.
Village Clothes: No protection. Base for creating other armor types.
Mage Clothes: No protection. Provides potion effects, cannot be upgraded.
Carrying Equipment
Bag: Simple bag for a small number of items.
Handmade Backpack: Improved version of bag with straps.
Backpack: Has slots for additional bags.
Colored Backpack: Like regular backpack but with color variations.
Leather Backpack: More expensive but better.
Big Backpack: Most spacious option.
Pouch: Small bag with limited space.
Belt: Allows carrying several bags.
Bandolier: Improved version of belt.
Crafting Tools
Sewing Kits: Four types (Basic, Iron, Gold, and Sewing Machine). Used for creating cloth, leather, and quilted items.
Tool Kits: Three types (Basic, Iron, and Advanced). Designed for creating metal armor and ore items.
Known Issues
- Some blocks may be too hard to break
- Shoulder textures on armor may display incorrectly
- Some helmets have incorrect visor position
- Steel ingots from other mods may not work with recipes
