Thought all recipes in Minecraft had to be made on a crafting table? HammerAndVil offers a completely different approach to item creation!
This mod introduces just two new tools into the game - a hammer and a mortar, which allow you to create simple recipes using up to 4 ingredients in an interactive way. The crafting process works like this: right-click to place items in the mortar, then left-click the required number of times with the correct tool to produce the final output from the recipe.
Compatibility with Other Mods
JEI: Displays all available mortar recipes and shows the exact number of hits needed to create each item.
HWYLA: Shows the current item in the top of the tool and displays the expected output if the player is holding a suitable tool for any recipe.
CraftTweaker2: Fully integrates with the system, allowing you to add your own custom recipes. By default, the mod adds only a few basic recipes for converting concrete into concrete powder - you can disable this feature in the config if you don't need it.
