Chewy Treats with Special Properties

This mod adds unique edible items to Minecraft with chewing gum as the main theme, each providing special bonuses when consumed.

Main Items and Their Capabilities

The mod introduces two key items: Gumobtainium and Gumbium. The first creates special "gum hearts" that completely absorb any damage taken and regenerate after a few seconds. The second item locks the hunger level, preventing it from dropping below half of the bar. Both items are crafted using unique methods specific to this mod.

Additional Ingredients

Gelatin is also added, which is mainly used for crafting but can also be consumed as standalone food. Gelatin nuggets can be eaten quickly and primarily restore saturation.

Compatibility and Recommendations

For convenient recipe viewing, it's highly recommended to use the JEI mod alongside Gumobtainium. Starting from version v1.26, the mod became fully compatible with Mantle (and possibly with Scaling Health as well, but this requires additional testing).
