Griswold's Workshop
Immerse yourself in the world of genuine blacksmithing in Minecraft with Griswold's Workshop. This modification is no longer under active development but offers many interesting possibilities for metallurgy enthusiasts.
Main Features
New metallic resources have been added to the game: copper, tin, bronze, platinum, and titanium, which will expand your crafting possibilities. Also added are buckets made of clay and porcelain, as well as flint tool sets.
One of the key mechanics is creating hammers through special molds. To do this, arrange clay in a chest-like pattern on the crafting table to get a hammer mold. Then place the mold in the furnace and combine it with a metal block to create a full-fledged hammer.
The created hammers allow you to crush ores into dust. It's important to note that a hammer cannot crush metals that are harder than itself in terms of properties.
Planned Features
In the future, developers planned to add a system for creating clay pots for storing liquids and additional molds for forging tools. Unique structures were also supposed to appear: mithril shrines in the Overworld and orichalcum forges in the Nether.
The blacksmith's arsenal was to include a special blacksmith forge for melting metals and an anvil for modifying tools. A socket system for weapons was planned, allowing the transfer of magic gems between items, as well as the creation of special alloys by combining different metals.
