Gemspark

The Gemspark mod for Minecraft offers a collection of gemstones, equipment, and decorative elements that seamlessly integrate with the vanilla game style. This project is developed for the Forge modding platform.

Main Content

The mod adds various gemstones that occupy an intermediate position between iron and diamond in terms of their characteristics. The hierarchy of stones is as follows:

From iron to diamond:

• Tanzanite
• Topaz
• Sapphire
• Pink Sapphire
• Ruby

Resource Generation

Ores with gemstones generate in the overworld, except for pink sapphires, which can only be found in the Nether. Generation settings follow standard Minecraft parameters.

Block Features

Glass blocks made from gemstones have explosion resistance, approximately half that of obsidian. The exceptions are diamond blocks, which are as strong as obsidian, and ruby blocks, which are slightly weaker.

Decorative Elements

The mod includes 16 colored redstone lamps, two types of pedestals, and various cosmetic accessories that can be worn as trinkets. Also added are special lamp post caps that allow lanterns to be placed on the ends of "arms". These elements blend well with regular fences, and when holding the Shift key, they can be placed as if protruding from a block.

Compatibility

For the optimal visual experience, it is recommended to install the ConnectedTexturesMod, which provides connected block textures.
