The Furnish mod enhances Minecraft with diverse and practical furniture that will make your world cozier and more functional.

Simple Item Crafting

The entire crafting process is done in a special workstation - the Furniture Workbench, which operates on the principle of a stonecutter. This means you won't have to memorize complex crafting recipes - simply place the required material in the workbench.

Extensive Furniture Collection

The mod offers a rich selection of interior items:

• Furniture elements: cabinets, wardrobes, kitchen cabinets, bedside tables, tables, chairs, stools, crates, shelves, benches made from all wood types (including Nether variants)
• Functionality: each item has its own features - some serve as storage, chairs and stools are sittable
• Decorative elements: window shutters, terracotta amphoras, book piles (provide enchanting power), woolen sofas, awnings, buntings, curtains

Communication System

A mail system with mailboxes and letters allows players to exchange messages.

Item Display

• Plates for displaying food items (including rare plates dropped by Endermen)
• Showcases that act as turntables when powered with redstone
• Disk racks
• Paper lamps
• Lockers

Building Features

• Ladders that don't require support blocks (available for all wood types)
• Ability to place carpets on stairs and trapdoors (can be used to create clever traps!)
• Knocking on doors
• New paintings: Steve, Alex, all tree types
• Ability to cycle painting art by right-clicking with another painting

Compatibility and Configuration

For mod and modpack creators, easy integration is provided through the new recipe type furnish:furniture_making.

Tag System

• Items tagged #furnish:mail can be placed in mailboxes
• Items tagged #furnish:crate_blacklist cannot be placed in crates
• Items tagged #furnish:music_discs are compatible with disk racks
