Furnace Recycle (Legacy Fabric)

The mod allows melting any vanilla game items containing metals in a furnace to recover part of the original materials. You won't get as many resources as it takes to create the item, but even small amounts of iron and gold will accumulate over time. Now you can melt down rails from mines or take the bell from a village—you might not even need to spend time mining in shafts anymore!

Each item returns fewer materials when melted than required for its creation, so there's no risk of infinite resource duplication. The melting process takes 200 ticks and provides 0.1 experience points.

Main Features

All metal-containing items can now be melted to obtain iron or gold. For example:

• Activator rails turn into iron nuggets
• Anvil gives an iron block
• Bell melts into a gold ingot
• Chain becomes an iron ingot
• Iron door returns an iron ingot
• Flint and steel provides an iron ingot
