Fureniku's Roads

Logo

The Fureniku's Roads mod opens up new possibilities for creating roads in Minecraft with virtually unlimited customization options!

Main Features

The mod offers 19 different types of road surfaces with adjustable height and over 80 marking patterns in three color schemes. You can freely combine road surfaces and markings according to your preferences. Future updates will bring additional elements for street decoration!

14 exclusive road types plus 5 standard ones (stone, grass, gravel, dirt, sand). 16 height options.

All markings are available in yellow and red colors. Markings can be applied to any blocks, and letters can even be placed on walls!

What is it for?

This is primarily a decorative mod that allows you to express your creativity in new ways. It's perfect for city building and roleplay projects. The best way to appreciate its capabilities is to look at the screenshots! All roads shown are built in a modified version of the City of Newisle project by Blip Noir.

Road Lighting

The lighting system in Fureniku's Roads has its own characteristics. Here's a comparison of a highway during the day and at night:

Street lights use a special system that creates an artificial light source at the base, giving the lighting a more natural look compared to Minecraft's standard capabilities.

Crafting and Paint Gun

All mod elements can now be created through the crafting system, making the mod fully compatible with survival mode.

The Paint Gun is the key tool for applying markings. It's convenient for both survival and creative modes. Just fill it up (in survival mode), choose the type and color of marking - and you're ready to work! The Paint Gun helps manage different types of markings without filling up the quick access panel.

A blue frame around an option indicates that it's a multi-block marking that will connect to neighboring elements.

Creating Custom Markings

Starting from version 1.2, you can create your own markings without modding or modeling skills!

To add new markings to your world, use the special editor. Draw whatever you want! Various options are available, including a grid for convenience and resolution changes - markings can be 16x16, 32x32, or 64x64 pixels.

After creating your drawing, fill in the required fields and export the file in JSON format. Place the file in the "RoadPaints" folder in the mods directory, and your markings will appear in the game!

Planned Updates

1.3: Road signs and traffic light system

1.4: Road works (systems for mass road building in creative mode)

1.6: Surprise!

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the mod affect performance?
No*, except for increased loading time due to the large number of models. It's recommended to allocate at least 2 GB of RAM, preferably 4 GB.

How to create roads in survival?
Use JEI to view recipes or assemble a Tar Distiller, Crusher, and Road Factory.

Why don't reflectors glow like in the screenshots?
You probably have Optifine installed, which conflicts with the mod's lighting system.
