FTB Team Bases
Robust Solution for Collaborative Building
FTB Team Bases delivers a contemporary system for establishing and managing team bases in Minecraft 1.21.1. This powerful tool integrates functionalities from previous developments, including FTB Team Dimensions, FTB Team Islands, and FTB Dungeons, offering a comprehensive approach to organizing group gameplay.
Core Capabilities
Players now have multiple options for placing their team dwellings:
- Shared Dimension — bases occupy a unified shared world (default dimension identifier: ftbteambases:bases), similar to the FTB Team Islands approach
- Isolated Dimensions — each team accesses their personal dimension for ultimate privacy
- Pre-designed Templates — utilization of pre-generated region files for building truly expansive bases
- Dynamic Generation — structure construction using the Jigsaw block mechanism
- Simple Replication — swift placement of small structures through NBT format structure pasting
Important: Operating with pre-built regions works optimally with "void"-type dimensions or worlds possessing a fixed seed, which guarantees coherence and accuracy in ultimate world generation.
The modification's backbone is the base definition framework, comprising JSON files located in specialized datapacks. Each definition acts as a blueprint for establishing an active gameplay base, with every such base tightly linked to a specific FTB Teams squad. Notably, within an active FTB Team Bases environment, forming a team becomes feasible strictly through the base creation process, and team dissolution automatically ejects associates from their respective zones.
