The Frame Changer modification offers players completely new possibilities for decorating Nether portals and adds elegant obsidian decorative blocks created by Finneganso.

Customize Portals to Your Taste

Now you can use any blocks to create portal frames! The system supports custom tags frame_changer:portal_frames, allowing you to customize the appearance of portals according to your preferences.

Advanced Configuration Options

Custom Portal Frames

• Activation of using any blocks from the frame_changer:portal_frames tag for portal creation (default: enabled)

Customizable Exit Portals

• Creation of custom exit portals when transitioning (default: disabled)
• Specifying the block ID for the exit portal frame (default: "minecraft:obsidian")
• Important: the format must follow the pattern "modID:blockID". Examples: "minecraft:enchanting_table", "architects_palette:moonshale" and others.

Changes When Destroying Portals

• Transformation of obsidian blocks into crying variants when destroying a portal (default: disabled)
• Probability of block transformation into crying variants (default: 0.33)

Tag System

The block tag frame_changer:portal_frames determines which blocks can be used to create valid Nether portals. By default, it includes standard obsidian and decorative blocks from this modification.

Compatibility

The mod requires installation of Blueprint. Additional compatibility with Spelunkery for hammer and chisel tools, as well as with Create and Spelunkery for portal fluids.
