Flowing Fluids
Flowing Fluids is a modification that fundamentally changes liquid physics in Minecraft, making their behavior more realistic. Liquids now become limited resources, adding a new layer of water management strategy to the game.

Main Features
The mod offers dozens of settings for performance optimization, liquid behavior adjustment, gameplay mechanics, and visual effects. This is a modern implementation of realistic liquid physics concepts, built from scratch for current Minecraft versions.
Realistic Liquid Flow
Liquids now spread across surfaces, flow down slopes, and fill depressions, forming natural pools. You can create aqueducts, flood areas with water or lava - the possibilities are limited only by your imagination.

Limited Resources
Liquids are no longer infinite - they flow until they run out or encounter obstacles. This means you'll need to carefully plan water supply, as the familiar method of creating infinite sources from two water blocks no longer works.

Oceans, rivers, and swamps still serve as inexhaustible sources, but their recovery rate is limited, and they can be completely drained with sufficiently fast consumption.
Piston Pumps
Using pistons, you can now pump liquids upward, creating automatic water supply systems.

New Gameplay Mechanics
The mod adds several new mechanics that require water resource management:
- Irrigated farmland has a chance to consume water levels when hydrated
- Animals may require nearby water when breeding
- Filling bottles consumes 2-3 water levels
- Buckets can collect from 1 to 8 levels of liquid
Compatibility
The mod is compatible with most liquids from other modifications. You can disable or remove the mod at any time without world damage - all "full" liquids will be saved as standard source blocks.
Create Mod Compatibility
Flowing Fluids is specifically adapted to work with the Create mod, changing the behavior of water wheels and pipes. Create pipes can move limited volumes of liquids, and water wheels operate with constant liquid flow.

Visual Improvements
The mod uses Minecraft's standard liquid rendering system, ensuring compatibility with shaders. Various appearance settings are available, including the ability to hide flow texture and change liquid display height.
Performance
The mod is optimized for maximum performance. When moving thousands of liquid blocks simultaneously, some delays may occur, but various settings allow finding a balance between realism and performance.
Installation and Usage
For optimal operation, it's recommended to install the mod on both server and client. The mod is only mandatory on the server side - without the client version, you won't get visual improvements and minor desynchronizations may occur.
⚠️ Warning: The mod is in active development stage. Instability and unidentified bugs may be present.
