📖 Game Lore
"An old traveler left something behind..."
Flora: Spore Blossom This is an amazing plant species. Despite each flower existing in solitude on the ceilings of lush caves, they are found in enormous quantities throughout the ecosystem, indicating the effectiveness of their survival strategy. Possible symbiosis with moss? These flowers release characteristic spores, possibly promoting the growth of the surrounding environment. Additionally, mature specimens create a spore stream beneath themselves resembling a waterfall. This may help ground species, although there's no confirmation of this. Like native big dripleaf plants, spore blossoms possess innate touch sensitivity, instantly folding their petals upon contact. This is most likely a method of self-defense against predators or any creatures capable of interfering with their role in the diversity of underground flora.
