Flat Lights

Flat Lights for version 1.16.5 requires the Curios mod version 4.1.0.0 or higher to be installed.

Overview of Features

Flat Lights is a modification that expands decorative lighting possibilities in Minecraft. It offers various glowing blocks with minimalist textures, available in 16 standard dye colors from vanilla game, as well as 16 additional colors that can be obtained through crafting.

All block creation recipes are maximally simple and accessible, since the main goal of the mod is to provide players with easily obtainable materials for building and decoration without unnecessary complications.

Color Solutions and Patterns

The mod includes 16 additional colors that can be used in the same block variations as standard dye colors.

Special Block Shapes

Flat Lights also adds partial blocks of various shapes, available in 16 standard and 16 additional colors. These blocks can be waterlogged and placed in specific directions, making them ideal for interior lighting or creating neon signs.

Working with Shaders

Glowing blocks look excellent when using shaders. (The image uses Complementary Shaders via Oculus with settings that give blocks glow similar to redstone lamps)

Additional Items

Besides building elements, the mod includes several additional items and blocks intended for entertainment and practical use. However, the main focus remains on decorative lighting.

The mod can be freely used in modpacks.
