Fisherman's Trap

Fisherman's Trap is a concise modification that introduces a fishing trap into the game for passively collecting fish in exchange for crops. While fishing in Minecraft is enjoyable in itself, the abundance of other loot often makes it an unreliable food source, especially when significant quantities of fish are needed for recipes in mods like Farmer's Delight.

To prevent making fish acquisition overly simple, the trap must be submerged in a water biome—lake, ocean, or river. Otherwise, the catch will be zero.

It is highly recommended to use the mod in conjunction with Farmer's Delight to fully realize its potential.

Which baits catch what?

• Bread — any fish (cod, salmon, tropical fish, pufferfish)
• Beetroot — cod only
• Sweet berries — salmon only
• Melon slice — tropical fish only
• Golden carrot — pufferfish only
• Empty bait slot — any item from the minecraft:gameplay/fishing/junk loot table
