Field to Fork

Field to Fork is a comprehensive modification for Minecraft that completely transforms agricultural and culinary gameplay. The mod offers a complete cycle from planting seeds to preparing gourmet dishes, adding numerous new plants, fruits, vegetables, tools, and other elements to create a realistic farming experience.

Dependencies

For Field to Fork to work on Fabric and NeoForge platforms, TerraBlender version 1.21-4.0.0.1 or higher is required. TerraBlender is available for both platforms.

Plants

The mod significantly expands the variety of agricultural crops, including ground plants, shrubs, and fruit trees!

Fruit Trees

The game now features 8 types of fruit trees: banana, dragon fruit, lychee, mango, orange, palm (coconut), pear, and pomegranate. The leaves of these trees eventually bear fruit—simply right-click on ripe leaves to harvest!

Saplings can be obtained with a small chance when breaking the leaves of corresponding trees.

Palms are found in the Palm Beach biome, while other fruit trees are located in Fruit Forests.

Fruit Crops

In addition to trees, 4 types of fruit crops have been added:

• Chili pepper (technically a fruit!)
• Eggplant (also a fruit!)
• Red/yellow bell pepper
• Green/purple grapes

Seeds for growing these crops can be found in loot chests throughout the world or obtained when harvesting.

Vegetable Crops

5 types of vegetables are available:

• Leeks
• Asparagus
• Radish
• Sweet potato
• Zucchini

Seeds for these vegetables are also found in loot chests and obtained when harvesting.

Tools

Scythe

The scythe allows harvesting multiple crops simultaneously with one motion—simply right-click on plants in the field! Versions made of stone, iron, gold, diamond, and netherite are available, with each subsequent tier increasing the tool's range.

Watering Can

Essentially an improved bucket! The watering can holds up to 8 "doses" of water, allowing you to work longer away from an infinite water source.

Blocks

All tree types have their own set of blocks: logs, planks, doors, trapdoors, and signs! Examples can be seen below, and all blocks are crafted using standard Minecraft recipes with corresponding materials replaced. The full range of blocks for each tree is presented in the images section of the mod page.

Biomes

Field to Fork adds two new biomes: Palm Beaches (for palms) and Fruit Forests (for all other fruit trees).
