Fallout Inspired Power Armor

Introduction to Power Armor

This mod represents a massive addition inspired by the Fallout universe, adding six complete power armor suits to Minecraft. Unlike standard armor, these powered suits function completely differently, requiring special preparation and resources for use.

Available Armor Sets

The mod includes the following power armor models: T-45, T-51, T-60, X-01, X-02, and X-03. Each set features unique characteristics and appearance, surpassing even netherite armor in protective properties.

Functional Features

Using power armor requires two key components: a frame and a power source. Without an installed fusion core, the player will experience movement slowdown and receive negative effects. The frame can be removed and equipped using the N key, leaving the armor in place.

Power System

Fusion cores are craftable and have limited charge, lasting approximately 15 minutes of active use. Recharging requires building a charging station - a special block that operates on coal or charcoal.

Acquisition Methods

Armor can be found through various methods: in randomly generated structures, as buried sets requiring repair, or using a special tracker for targeted searching.

Modifications and Upgrades

All armor sets support an upgrade system up to X-03 level. Damaged sets can be either repaired or recycled into materials for upgrades. Each set is equipped with a jetpack and wrist-mounted missile launchers that visually change the armor's appearance.

Customization

Using a smithing table, armor can be repainted using dyes. Painted armor retains all modifications, enchantments, and names, with the paint being removable without losing these characteristics.

Additional Weaponry

The mod includes various weapons from the Fallout universe: laser rifles, plasma weapons, and ballistic systems. The plasma cannon deserves special attention, using coal blocks as fuel.

Structures and Locations

Thematic buildings appear in the Minecraft world: subway station, power station, workshops, downed vertibird, Camp Navarro, and diner. Camp Navarro contains particularly valuable armor specimens, including the hard-to-obtain Tesla X-01 set.

Protective Properties

Power armor provides exceptional protection against various damage types: falls, arrows, poison, and other damage sources. When moving in armor, powerful, heavy footstep sounds are emitted, corresponding to its massiveness.
