Fabric Seasons: Extras
This addon for Fabric Seasons expands the mod's capabilities by adding unique blocks and items that make gameplay more convenient and diverse.
Why is this mod needed?
The base Fabric Seasons doesn't include additional items and blocks, so for full use of seasonal mechanics, installing this addon is recommended.
For detailed information about the mod and its capabilities within the game, installing the Patchouli mod is recommended.
Greenhouses and Microclimate
To compensate for the influence of seasons on plant growth, Fabric Seasons: Extras offers 4 special blocks for creating fully functional greenhouses with their own microclimate. This allows optimizing crop growth speed at any time of year.
Available blocks:
- Greenhouse Glass - passive block creating a warmer microclimate
- Tinted Greenhouse Glass - passive block creating a colder microclimate
- Crop Heater - active device capable of creating a warmer microclimate with three intensity levels
- Crop Chiller - active device capable of creating a colder microclimate with three intensity levels
For assistance in building greenhouses, you can create the Crop Season Tester - an item that analyzes a block when right-clicked and shows which season is affecting it.
Additional Features
Besides greenhouse resources, the mod adds other useful blocks:
- Season Detector - redstone component that outputs a signal depending on the current season and block settings
- Season Calendar - useful item/block showing season progress and number of days until the next season
