Fabric MyCraft
Minecraft Vanilla Gameplay Overhaul
The Fabric MyCraft modification fundamentally changes the familiar gameplay, introducing significant alterations at all stages of progression - from early to late game.
Food System Changes
The food consumption system has undergone major changes. Different types of food now require varying consumption times. Food cooked in a regular furnace receives a "Suspect" status, while stew dishes provide temporary health boost. Proper food preparation now requires using a special oven.
Storage System
The standard chest recipe now creates a basic version with less storage capacity that cannot combine into large chests. Regular chests now require a gold ingot for crafting.
Armor and Equipment
The armor creation system has been completely reworked. Armor is now crafted from plates made from leather and corresponding metal ingots. Leather requires preliminary processing on a tanning rack to create leather plates and armor.
Animal Behavior
Animals now have emotional states - they can be happy or sad. Emotional state affects the amount of dropped loot: sad animals provide fewer resources, while happy ones give more. Sad animals can cry. Various factors influence emotional state: cramped pens, being on fire, or being leashed make animals sad, while feeding from a trough with wheat or apples makes them happy.
Recipe Changes
Smokers can no longer be crafted - they only spawn in villages. Tridents are now repaired using prismarine shards. Item repair is only possible on a grindstone or anvil.
Navigation Tools
Regular compasses now point to the player's spawn point. Magic compasses direct to the last used portal and work in all dimensions.
