Expert Armor [Fabric | Forge]

In the world of Minecraft, where item creation combines art and technique, a modification has appeared that completely changes the approach to crafting protective armor.

The Expert Armor mod introduces a new armor crafting system, making the process more complex and demanding of the player's skill. Instead of standard recipes, you'll now need special plates for each type of armor.

Main Features

The main problem with vanilla Minecraft is the too rapid acquisition of quality armor. Iron armor can be crafted on the very first day of gameplay, and a full diamond set in just 2-3 days.

Expert Armor solves this problem by adding craftable plates for each standard armor, as well as for compatible modded armor. This increases the cost of a full armor set from 24 to 48 units of the corresponding material.

How It Works

For example, creating a diamond plate requires 4 diamonds:

This plate then replaces diamonds in standard armor crafting recipes:

All plates can be converted back into original materials by placing them in the player's crafting grid or crafting table:

Achievements for unlocking standard recipes have also been adapted to the new system.
