Mod Overview

Exitian Tweaks is a versatile tool for Minecraft developers that enables customization of gameplay mechanics. The modification offers extensive capabilities for altering game mechanics, providing modpack and datapack creators with flexible customization tools.

Target Audience

✅ Suitable for: Modpack and datapack developers who want to finely tune various game aspects using toggleable functions.

❌ Not suitable for: Players looking for a simple "install and play" solution, as the mod does almost nothing with default settings and requires individual configuration.

Installation and Configuration

Exitian Tweaks requires NeoForge version 21.0.40-beta or higher. After installing NeoForge, place the mod file in the "mods" folder of the corresponding Minecraft instance.

Settings are accessible via the "Mods" button in the main menu or pause menu. Configuration can be modified after the first game launch with the installed mod.

Key Features

⚡ Totem of Undying from Inventory

Totems of Undying activate directly from the player's inventory. The functionality is extended through item tag system, allowing you to assign this ability to any other items.

📊 Experience System Control

Complete disabling of the experience system and the associated interface. Compatible with the AppleSkin mod.

🚂 Minecart Speed Adjustment

Changing the maximum speed of minecarts. Increasing speed beyond standard values increases the risk of derailment.

🎯 Interface Positioning

Precise adjustment of the vertical position of health, armor, and hunger bars on the screen. Step-by-step pixel-by-pixel adjustment provides better compatibility with other mods. Supports compatibility with AppleSkin.

🔥 Realism with Hot Items

Player takes fire damage when holding hot items defined through the tag system. Adds realism when handling items like lava buckets.

⛏️ Ore Generation Control

Preventing the spawning of large copper and iron ore clusters in caves.

🚪 Nether Portal Blocking

Disabling the creation of Nether portals, forcing players to find alternative ways to travel between dimensions or completely disabling access to the Nether.

🎙️ Startup Optimization

Skipping the initial narrator screen for faster game loading. The narrator function itself is not disabled. Disabled by default.

🛡️ Fire Protection for Items

Granting items immunity to fire and lava through the tag system.

👹 Enemy Spawn Control

Blocking the spawning of hostile mobs, slimes, and even bosses including the Ender Dragon and Wither. Perfect for game modes where players focus on survival without mob threats.

⌨️ Command Blocks in Survival Mode

Enabling the use of command blocks in survival mode or completely disabling them for all players. Maintains vanilla behavior: blocks cannot be placed unless both settings are activated.

Tools for Developers

Exitian Tweaks provides several system item tags registered in the "c" namespace for Fabric and NeoForge:

• "#c:death_preventables" - prevents player death (by default applies only to Totem of Undying)
• "#c:will_burn_players" - deals lava damage to the player holding the item (by default only lava bucket)
• "#c:heat_resistant_items" - protects items from being destroyed by fire (by default only lava bucket)

Compatibility

Any mods or datapacks that add the specified tags to their items will work together with Exitian Tweaks. Indirect compatibility with KubeJS is supported.

In case of conflicts with other mods implementing similar functions, you can disable or configure the relevant options through configuration.
