Ex Nihilo Fabrico

This project represents an ongoing development, fork, and complete overhaul of the Ex Nihilo Creatio mod, adapted for Minecraft version 1.14.4+ and the Fabric platform. It continues the traditions of classic companion modifications for the "sky block" game mode.

Core Features

The mod expands gameplay with a system of specialized tools and mechanisms for resource generation in limited space conditions. Players gain access to crop seeds, various types of hammers, specialized sieving devices, barrels, and crucibles. Special attention is given to interactions with witch water, which opens additional material transformation possibilities.

Unique Characteristics

The sieve creation system received significant improvements—resource pack developers can now create unlimited mesh variants through JSON configurations, removing previous limitations of only four types. The sieve mechanism was enhanced with fluid support, including water environments, which changes the results obtained from sieving.

The visual aspect was also improved: ore chunks can now take different shapes and have varying background materials for better visual differentiation. The mob transformation system through witch water was completely reworked and became configurable through configuration files.

Production blocks, including barrels, crucibles, and sieves, are now available in all wood varieties present in the game. An enchanting system was added for barrels and crucibles, supporting effects such as efficiency, fire aspect, and thorns. The thorns enchantment on barrels works particularly interestingly—instead of standard products, they begin collecting blood.

For obtaining salt, a simple mechanism was added—just use an empty bottle on sand.
