ESO Rebalanced Recipes - Enchantment Balancing

This datapack requires the Enchanting System Overhaul modification to be installed for its operation.

This data set fundamentally changes the enchantment creation system in the ESO mod, making recipes more balanced and logical. The main goal is to expand the functionality of copper and amethyst, which in the standard game are used mainly for decorative purposes or rare cases of application in redstone.

New Resource Value

Copper and amethyst become important components in the enchanting process, giving them additional value in gameplay. Diamonds also receive increased significance - the most powerful enchantments require their use, creating additional motivation for exploration and mining.

Enchantment Changes

The system has been completely reworked. For example, the change in the recipe for the "backstabbing" enchantment from the Farmer's Delight mod. Many rare and cursed enchantments have become unavailable - such as Mending, Swift Sneak and all vanilla curses can no longer be applied to equipment. As a temporary solution, "impossible" components (such as bedrock) have been set for them.

Selection Features

It is important to note: this datapack is optimally suited for players who do not plan to use copper and amethyst as the main building materials. The system creates an incentive to experiment with various types of tools and armor, both from vanilla game and mods, since key enchantments become more demanding of resources.
