Epic Fight - Valour Guard

This mod is designed to compensate for the inability to use parrying with greatswords in Epic Fight, but its functionality extends far beyond simply enabling blocking. Inspired by the gameplay mechanics of Dragon's Dogma 2 and the Monster Hunter series, I have developed a unique defensive technique with aggressive timing, available exclusively for greatswords. This system allows players to use a collision attack to neutralize damage and enhance their own capabilities in appropriate situations.

Important Information!

Please note that the mod replaces idle, walk, run, and guard animations for greatswords. If you are using resource packs with animations, ensure that the mod's animations take priority over those from resource packs for the optimal gaming experience.

Features

When using defense, the character cannot move. Instead, activating defense during the recovery from a normal attack or using built-in skills while blocking consumes stamina to concentrate physical strength and perform a frontal collision. Proper use of this mechanic allows you to parry enemy attacks, significantly reduce damage taken, knock back the opponent, and restore your own stamina.

After successfully parrying or blocking an attack, your valor value increases. When reaching 100 valor units, you enter the Valor state. However, be aware that taking damage causes the valor value to decrease. In the Valor state, you gradually lose a small amount of valor every second, while all attack preparation processes remain uninterrupted and damage taken is reduced until the valor value returns to zero and the state ends.
