Epic Fight: Skill Tree

About the Modification

This addon replaces the skill books system in Epic Fight with a tree-based progression system, freeing players from random skill choices and loot dependency. This solution is perfect for RPG enthusiasts, modpacks, and multiplayer servers.

Main Features

Skill Tree Pages

When pressing the skill tree open key (default 'K'), an interface appears with multiple pages containing skills and their connections. Progression occurs sequentially according to the tree structure.

Switching between pages is done through corresponding buttons; some pages are initially locked and require meeting certain conditions to unlock.

Ability Points

A new resource for unlocking skills has been introduced — ability points. Each skill requires a specific number of points. Experience conversion to ability points is available directly in the skill tree interface.

Clicking the experience orb icon converts accumulated experience into an ability point. The nearby display shows the current indicator: "current experience / required amount for conversion".

Ability Stones

Ability stones can be obtained by defeating hostile mobs or finding them in chests, similar to skill books in the original system. Using an ability stone grants one ability point without spending experience.

What Happened to Skill Books?

Epic Fight: Skill Tree completely replaces skill books in loot tables with ability stones. In survival mode, skill books are no longer available but remain in creative mode. However, they don't affect the skill tree — corresponding abilities must now be unlocked exclusively through ability points.
