Engineer's Tools

A modification that expands the engineer's arsenal in Minecraft by adding various manual tools and consumables, perfectly suited for technical modpacks.

Main Tools

REDIA Tool

A versatile hand-held multi-tool combining pickaxe, axe, shovel, and shears. The tool features diamond coating, providing high work efficiency.

Features:

• Efficiency depends on durability: at full durability, it works like a diamond tool (approximately Efficiency III), speed decreases with wear
• Fortune level also depends on tool condition: maximum at full durability, rapidly decreases with wear
• Repairable with diamonds
• Compatible with Unbreaking enchantment, but not with Efficiency and Fortune

Additional functions:

• Right-click: place torch
• Shift + right-click on ground: cycle through land types (dirt → farmland → coarse dirt → grass path)
• Shift + right-click: shear sheep, collect vines, grass, leaves
• Shift + breaking wood: tree felling (with increased durability consumption)

Crafted with iron axe, pickaxe, shovel, and diamond.

Auto Stim Pack

A rescue device that automatically activates when health drops below 3 hearts. Pushes back enemies and provides temporary buffs to help survive critical situations. Works from any inventory slot, including Bauble and Curios accessory slots. Has a small activation delay.

Diving Air Capsule

A compact capsule with compressed oxygen that automatically replenishes air supply when it becomes critically low. Works from any inventory or accessory slot.

Ariadne Coal

A coal pen for drawing arrows on walls, floors, and ceilings, helping with navigation in caves and mines. Crafted like a "coal sword" and references the myth of Ariadne and the thread.

Ore Crushing Hammer

Early-game tool for doubling ore output, similar to the crusher from Immersive Engineering. Has low durability (typically enough for 64 stacks of ore) and cannot be repaired. Crafted like an engineer's hammer but with an iron block instead of one ingot.

Manual Power Bar Press

Portable device for creating nutritious Muslee Melange power bars. Accepts various seeds and edible foods, automatically filtering out poisonous and spoiled items. Has built-in storage for ingredients.

Tracker

Handheld device for tracking other players and entities. Allows setting targets and shows direction to them using a built-in compass. Displays distance and information about being in other dimensions.

Mind Squeezer and Charged Lapis

Simple system for storing experience levels in lapis lazuli. The mind squeezer allows converting a character level into charged lapis, which can be used to restore experience.

Integration and Support

The modification is compatible with technical modpacks and designed with integration with Immersive Engineering in mind. Configuration allows enabling test features to access blocks in development.
