Thanks to its accessible crafting recipe and impressive seven-block radius of effect, this candle becomes an excellent replacement for conventional light sources. Its magical glow not only illuminates the space but also provides real benefits.
Version features: In Minecraft 1.16.5, beeswax is required for crafting instead of regular candles.
Magical effects and their activation conditions:
- Regeneration I - activates when health is below 7 hearts
- Regeneration II - activates at critical health (less than 2 hearts) with hostile mobs nearby
- Strength I - works when monsters are nearby
- Haste I - functions at full health (10 hearts)
- Speed I - automatically activates during nighttime
- Taming - constant effect allowing the nearest player to tame animals (such as wolves)
- Rain protection - activates when health is below 5 hearts
- Thunder protection - works at critical health with monsters nearby
- Weather clearing - to activate, right-click the candle at full health
- Flourishing - passive effect that randomly fertilizes plants within range
